Angry & The Goddess is an art and design studio, helping other artists, small businesses, start-ups, non-for profits, and proactive nerds through our combined talents of graphic design and illustration.

Currently based in Chicago, Anthony “Angry Bird”, a Renaissance man of artistic abilities, and Athena, who’s dad loves Greek mythology a little too much, have taken our love of each other and the art we produce to form Angry & The Goddess. Officially launched in early 2020, we specialize in branding, print design, and illustration. We work carefully with each client to ensure that they are satisfied with the output of their project, no matter how big or small. We believe that in order for all of us to thrive, we all must become successful for each other in our community.

Anthony: My biggest inspiration is Vegeta, bringing out the true fight in any Goku. Whether it’s with friends, family, or strangers, I tend to always bring the entertainment. When it comes to the creative process, I try to draw concepts no one has done before such as putting Frieza in a Darth Vader costume or Goku as Captain America, or illustrate some of my favorite song lyrics. I have vend and displayed my art at a number of events such as RAW at the Metro, Pancakes & Booze, Frosty Faustings, and Anime Magic. I also have ample experience running gaming tournaments online and at conventions.

Athena: If I have to choose, my biggest inspiration is video games; everything from the character models to the UI design of the pause screen influences the way I approach my work. I strive to create timeless pieces of work that my clients will love for years to come. I have worked with a Gamestop store in Chicago, Howard Area Community Center, One Northside, Dead Girls Vintage, and Lookingglass Theatre through various design projects. When I’m not working, I play video games, cook, cosplay, go to the gym, travel, study spirituality, and attend anime conventions and gaming tournaments.
